Arkansas G&F to trap, remove feral cats

In July, the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission will begin trapping and removing feral cats from one of the state's more popular trout fishing access areas on the Little Red River. "Cats are the most significant invasive species affecting native bird populations and are also estimated to kill twice as many mammals as birds," said Tom Bly, AGFC fisheries biologist. "There are also numerous human health concerns associated with feral cat colonies." Heber Springs Sun Times.

Congratulations on their intelligent decision to rid their lands of this highly destructive invasive-species, but they will quickly find that trapping them just won't work. Trap & kill failed to curb their populations just as much as trap & sterilize is an even bigger failure. Any trapping method used just cannot catch-up to cats' breeding rates. Especially a man-made invasive-species like these cats that can breed 2-4X's faster than any naturally occurring cat species. We must now rely on a hard lesson learned from the past. The ONLY action that man has ever done which can eradicate a species fast enough is "Hunted to Extinction" (or extirpation of all outdoor cats in this case). This is a hard cold fact. Using a mistake of human behavior in the past (hunted to extinction) and employing it as a viable solution to clean up this man-made ecological disaster of today. Fighting fire with fire if you will, using one mistake of humans to solve another man-made mistake of humans. Two wrongs finally do make a right. Shoot-on-sight is the ONLY method that is faster than these cats can out-breed or out-adapt to. The phrase known 'round the world never became "trapped to extinction" -- because trapping is too slow to cause the now-needed results.

It worked on my land. May it work as fast and as inexpensively where you live as well. I, for one, know that NO cat will ever leave my property and ever become a problem for anyone or anything else in the world again. I only wish now that all others were as respectful and responsible of their planet and neighbor as I have learned to be. And contrary to cat-lovers' oft-spewed and relentless pack of lies, their "vacuum effect" is a bald-faced lie. I shot and buried hundreds of cats on my land over two years ago. NONE have replaced them in all this time. Simple reason being: CATS ATTRACT CATS. Get rid of every last one and there's none there to attract more of them. If you want more cats, allow even one of them to stay around, more will find you. Should even ONE cat ever step paw on my land ever again? Shoot-on-sight A.S.A.P. (and bury to protect wildlife from their diseases even after they are dead). Because if I don't I'll be up to my a** in cats again, with them destroying all my wildlife and spreading their deadly diseases everywhere again -- back to square one. That's never going to happen, EVER AGAIN.

It took me 15 years to learn this lesson. I tried to reason with cat-lovers all that time, trying to be respectful and "nice" about it. Pleading with cat-lovers to stop their cats solved absolutely nothing and only made matters worse and worse. That's a lesson that I will never forget. No amount of being "nice" is going to solve an ecological disaster of this magnitude. The time for being "nice" to cat-lovers is OVER, DONE, FINISHED. You don't ask your local thieves how to safeguard your valuables, just as you don't ask a delusional invasive-species advocate how to protect your native wildlife. Learn from this. Don't make the same mistake I did by trying to reason with cat-lovers. Just do what needs to be done and there'll be nothing to argue about. Simple as that.

This just goes to prove again what I've suspected all along ... the Toxoplasma gondii parasites in cat-lovers brains won't let them think nor reason beyond wanting to ensure the proliferation of more T. gondii parasites throughout the whole food-chain and into more humans, by spreading their genetically-engineered, nature-destroying, INVASIVE-SPECIES cats even further. Even if they have to harm or murder humans that stand in their way. They are being controlled against all common-sense and reason by the cats' parasites that have taken over their minds.

Get tested for T. gondii if you are defending these invasive-species cats' lives. You're most likely obeying cats' parasites in your brain now. You can no longer think nor reason like a human anymore, ignoring all logic and common-sense. Your thoughts demoted to that of parasitic protozoan awareness, where only its base biochemical survival matters, without concern nor regard for anything else in its environment. (Sounds just like every cat-lover, doesn't it.) Though either way, even if you are not infected by this cat-parasite and still feel that it's better to harm a human than a cat, seek professional help before you act on these blatantly clear psychopathic and sociopathic thoughts and values of yours.

Licensing and laws do nothing to curb the problem. If cats are required to be licensed then cat-lovers just stop putting collars on their cats, as they did by me. And they won't even bother getting them micro-chipped, especially not that They want absolutely nothing that can hold them legally responsible, liable, and accountable for the actions of their cats. It's why many of them even keep cats in the first place. We're not talking about the topmost responsible citizens of the world, you know. They don't want that responsibility of what their cat has done coming back on them. If they had even one iota of a sense of responsibility and respect for all other lives on this planet we wouldn't even be having these discussions.

On the other hand, I found something that DOES work, and works well, and works fast (well, relative to the years it takes trying to reason with deceitful and lying cat-lovers). Where I live the cat-lovers quickly learned that, collar or not, their cats get shot on-sight no matter what.

The ONLY thing that works is destroying any of their cats found outdoors on your property. They either learn to stop getting more cats that die under the wheels of cars or from animal attacks, or they finally learn how to be a responsible pet owner, respectful neighbor, and learn to keep their invasive species animal under confined supervision, as it should be. Win win win all around. You can either destroy their cat for them humanely, or let their lack of concern for their cat cause it to die inhumanely. Your choice. By destroying their cat humanely you are showing them that you care more about their cat than even they do.

You can't train a cat to stay home but I found that, in time, you CAN train a cat-owner into being a responsible pet-owner and a respectable neighbor. Most of them are so phenomenally stupid, disrespectful, and criminally irresponsible though that you have to make at least 12-15 of their cats permanently disappear before they start to figure out what they've been doing wrong all during their sorry, useless, and pathetic lives.

If you live in an area where its not legal to use firearms to destroy any animal that is harming the health, safety, and well-being of you, your family, your own animals, or property (as it is legal in most every area of the nation); then check into laws regarding air-rifles. Ones with ballistics speeds of 700-1200 fps and using pointed vermin-pellets are often prescribed for use on vermin in no-firearms zones. Many of the newer ones even come with their own sound-suppressor designs built-in. Failing that, then there's always the SSS and TDSS Cat Management Programs that are exploding in popularity worldwide. Shoot, Shovel, & Shut-Up; or Trap, Drown, Shovel, & Shut-Up. Both methods are legal on every square foot of this earth. No local laws were violated if it never happened!
