Although I am sure that my friend Michael would have gladly taken the extra two years, he was in fact only 64 when he left us.
I will miss our talks, Michael and hearing you say, "Be well Laddie"
before we hang up. I'm sorry that I never made it out to Iowa.

JERRY F. LEE

I only met Michael once at a S.H.O.T. show and we taked for about 30 minutes. Being a Southerner and a lover of Faulkner and Wolfe we discussed literature and shotguns and parted company, a little richer on my part for having met him. I read most of his books but felt I got to know more of "THE MAN" in those few brief moments. So Michael, GOD BLESS and may the road rise to meet you and may the wind be always at your back. Requiescat in pace Jerry F. Lee Cleveland GA.

“All things on earth point home in old October; sailors to sea, travellers to walls and fences, hunters to field and hollow and the long voice of the hounds, the lover to the love he has forsaken”
Thomas Wolfe " Look Homeward Angel"

George Traylor

I bought one of his books at a gun store 10 yr ago, Best Guns, the salesman said now thats one mans opinion. After looking at the incredible pictures and story's, I agreed it was this mans (me) opinion.
