Lesson: Don't hide handgun in paper shredder

ImagesA 58-year-old Athens, GA man told authorities that his wife apparently threw his Glock pistol out with the trash after emptying the basket below his paper shredder where his firearm was stashed. The couple contacted the trash company, telling them to watch for his handgun. Yeah, right. The Athens Banner-Herald reports.
