After a three-year ban on the use spinning wing duck decoys, the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission voted last week to allow the use of the controversial devices. Why have duck calling contest across the country? I thought one of the great arts of duck hunting was the ability of the hunter to call ducks into shooting range with a variety of calls. Might as well put sacks of corn out and have a "dove" shoot if you are going to use these.
