Florida Fish and Wildlife officers arrested and charged a Ft. Myers man with possession of 133 alligator eggs that he was allegedly collecting illegally in Collier County. “It’s an unusual arrest in it’s a lot of gator eggs,” said FWC public information officer Gabriella Ferraro. “It’s difficult to catch them in the act. What makes it so bizarre is not only is it illegal but this gentleman was risking life and limb.” In The Ft. Myers News-Press.
