the hours he spends fishing. I don’t know whether this is true or if it’s just
wishful thinking on the part of anglers or tackle manufacturers or both. Nor do
I know whether the same deal extends to hunting grouse and woodcock. It
certainly seems no less worthy than flogging some innocent body of water, but I
haven’t questioned the Almighty on that account—and as I’m not operating from
what you might call a strong bargaining position where the Almighty is
