Russian team wins World Ice-Fishing title in Wisconsin

ImagesForget about "home ice advantage," as the Russian team bested 11 other teams from around the globe to take Gold in the World Ice Fishing Championship held Saturday and Sunday on Big Eau Pleine Reservoir near Wausau, Wis. The top U.S. finisher was Chad Schaub of Michigan, who won his section and weighed the most fish (0.676 kilograms) on Sunday to place third overall. AP and The Stevens Point Journal.
