New York adopts deer-transport regs to prevent CWD

The New York Department of Environmental Conservation (DEC) has adopted changes to its Chronic Wasting Disease (CWD) regulations that prohibit certain parts of whitetail deer or elk taken in Pennsylvania to be brought into New York since the discovery of that fatal ungulate disease in captive Pennsylvania deer last fall.
