Nevada governor names interim wildlife chief

Nevada Gov. Brian Sandoval on Tuesday appointed George Tsukamoto interim director of the Nevada Department of Wildlife until a permanent replacement is found for Ken Mayer, who recently resigned under pressure from Sandoval and others. Tsukamoto is a wildlife biologist who spent 33 years at NDOW, and 13 years as chief of the game division.
