E. Ky. pastor wants his confiscated snakes returned
Gregory "Jamie" Coots, pastor of the Full Gospel Tabernacle in Jesus Name Church in Middlesboro, Ky. says he wants the three rattlesnakes and two copperheads that were confiscated by the Tennessee Wildlife Resource Agency during a traffic stop in Knoxville on Jan. 31. Coots was returning from Alabama, where he purchased the snakes to be used in his worship services, when the traffic stop occurred. In 2008, Coots was charged in Kentucky for illegally possessing wildlife. WYMT.
