Wyoming bill would honor jackalope, lawmaker

Images-1A bill currently in the Wyoming House would honor a late lawmaker who tried unsuccessfully to pass a bill in 2005 to declare the jackalope the state's official mythical creature. House Bill 149 is the resurrection of a measure Dave Edwards sponsored in 2005 when he represented District 6 in the Wyoming House. Edwards died Saturday at age 75 after suffering the effects of a stroke and Alzheimer’s disease. Billings Gazette.
