First grader suspended for pointing finger 'like a gun'

The parents of a 6-year-old Silver Spring, Md. first grader have successfully expunged the record of their boy’s one-day suspension from a Montgomery County public school for pointing his finger like a gun and saying “pow,” an incident school officials characterized as a threat “to shoot a student.” The attorney for the parents described the boy as “skinny and meek," and noted that "he was playing."
