Colo. county approved resolution defying Obama's orders
While acknowledging that President Obama's 23 executive orders aimed at reducing gun violence will have very little effect on local law enforcement, the El Paso County (Colo.) Commission unanimously approved a resolution proclaiming the county will not enforce any federal or state law that abridges Second Amendment rights. "We're being proactive and being pre-emptive," said Commissioner Peggy Littleton. "We're putting people on notice, whether it's the state legislature or at the federal level." Denver Post.
