Slate: More lefties shooting their supper?

We offer this treatise from Emma Marris at Slate.com for what it is, an opinion piece—it may be accurate to a degree but difficult, if not impossible, to verify. The writer contends more lefty urbanites are picking up guns and heading afield to harvest their own meat. "Hunting is undeniably in vogue among the bearded, bicycle-riding, locavore set," Marris writes. "The new trend might even be partly behind a recent 9 percent increase from 2006 to 2011 in the number of hunters in the U.S. after years of decline."
