Indiana man charged with poaching 180-class buck

Authorities with the Indiana Department of Natural Resources say Austin M. Spain, 21, illegally killed a 16-point, 180-class whitetail in Randolph County, despite claiming earlier he harvested it in Michigan. "He killed the trophy buck the weekend of Nov. 17-18," said DNR conservation officer Jake Carlile. "It was his second buck. The first one was earlier in November, also in Randolph County."
