Hmmm... I guess neither the word "exploding" in the name of the material they bought specifically for that property nor how it behaved as a target material were enough clues, eh? Neither English nor a visual & auditory demonstration could "learn 'em"? And according to the report, the fire was already started (which ignited the bag of material brought close to it). So why did they need to get an already-burning fire started with something that explodes? Even their story of why it happened doesn't quite add-up.
I'm sorry, but there just comes a point on the human evolutionary scale where no-sympathy-only-laughter is your only option. LOL
A last-minute candidate for this year's Darwin Awards perhaps? :-)
