Queens residents armed with bats, bows, arrows

In the wake of Hurricane Sandy's destructive impact, some residents of the Rockaways, located on the Queens Peninsula, feel so victimized by looters and other lawless activities that they're arming themselves with guns, baseball bats, booby traps — even hunting bows — to defend themselves, reports the New York Daily News.
