New fish species named after 4 Democrats, 1 Republican

According to the Bulletin of the Alabama Museum of Natural History, five newly discovered species of freshwater darters have been named after U.S leaders who "have worked to promote conservation and environmental protection," including Theodore Roosevelt, Jimmy Carter, Bill Clinton, Al Gore and Barack Obama.
