Mountain lion killed on S. Dakota front porch

A resident of rural Custer, SD shot and killed what state wildlife authorities called a particularly "bold" mountain lion after he discovered in lounging on his frot porch Monday evening. "He does have some pets, so it's very possible she was just hanging out there waiting for a good chance at one of the pets," said SD Game, Fish & Parks wildlife manager John Kanta.
