On Tuesday, Defenders of Wildlife, the Sierra Club, the Center for Biological Diversity and the Natural Resources Defense Council filed a lawsuit in the District of Columbia federal court against the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, seeking to overturn the agency's decision to delist wolves in Wyoming and put that species under state control as of Oct. 1. The FWS has 60 days to respond to the suit. Casper Star-Tribune.
