Cops take gander at SUV, find live goose inside

ImagesThe manager of a Christmas tree lot on Chicago's Northside summoned police after he saw a large wild goose locked in the back of Angel Bautista-Perez's SUV Sunday night. The 29-year-old told cops he had "taken possession of the wild bird in order to drive him to his brother's house," the report said. He was arrested and charged with animal cruelty and possession of a migratory bird, both misdemeanors. Chicago Tribune.
