TV hunter 'Spook' Spann charged with violations

Spook-logoCelebrity hunter William "Spook" Spann of Tennessee was charged in U.S. District Court in Kansas City Thursday with with two counts of transporting wildlife obtained in violation of Kansas hunting laws. The crimes are alleged to have occurred in November 2007, the same year Spann shot a non-typical Stafford County whitetail buck that netted about 230 inches. According to Spann's website, his TV show appears on the Pursuit Channel. Wyandotte Daily News and Michael Pearce at the Wichita Eagle.
