Despite the failure of a measure to establish Sunday hunting in Pennsylvania to move out of committee, a grassroots coalition of hunters says it plans to take its fight to the state's highest court no later than July. "We seek to re-establish hunting as a constitutional right and abolish the Sunday hunting ban at the same time," said Kathy Davis of Hunters United for Sunday Hunting. Bob Frye in the Tribune-Review.
I'm always amazed when antiquated and just plain absurd laws come to the surface. It seems like every state has a few. This one seems like a no brainer for the legislature to repeal but that's seldom what happens.

This would seem like a good thing on the surface, fighting for sunday hunting, but it is all a shame. It is being spearhead by ecofreak extremists who do the bidding for pgc and their antideer campaign. This is ALL about killing more deer for the eco-nut agenda that is in place and moving forward on the next phase of the moronic deer program.

This 'davis' woman has a very bad name amoung pa hunters. She is trying to gain credibility for her bid for a Pa game commissioner seat where she can be a bigger pain in our asces than she is already. She is a devout environmental extremist and hates deer. She could not care less about this sunday hunting stuff. She wants to be our voice. Political maneuvering and nothing else.
