Yes, alcohol was apparently involved in the late night incident in which Andrew Caswell, 29, of Jamestown Terrace, NY struck a deer and decided to drive it to Unity Hospital for treatment, according to Greece Police. Chief Todd Baxter said while he sympathizes with trying to save a deer, "driving while intoxicated will not be tolerated." The deer died and Caswell was ticketed and released on his own recognizance.
