A flock of wild turkeys estimated to number around 100 birds has become a major nuisance in one Staten Island, NY neighborhood, tying up traffic, covering yards with feces, and even trapping a woman in her car. "They come in droves by the hundreds and eat the figs off my fig tree and poop all over everything. I complain and complain, but no one will help us," said Sarina Sanfelice, 82, who keeps a garden hose by her front door. NY Daily News.
There are turkeys in my neighborhood, too, but they just park on the lawn and leave 40-oz. bottles in the gutter.
