During the deer hunting opener in Minnesota, conservation officer Mark Fredin of Aurora received a complaint from hunters that someone was shooting at their treestands and playing extremely loud "cartoon music." During questioning, the neighboring homeowner told Fredin "he likes cartoon music and feels he can play it however he wants." A subsequent search discovered loudspeakers aimed at the woods and spent shotgun shells. The homeowner was charged with hunter harassment. Sam Cook, The Duluth Tribune.
