The sale of 87,310 M1 Garands and 770,160 M1 Carbines from the S. Korean government to American collectors approved by the Obama Administration in 2009 is now being blocked by the State Department, a move that has raised the ire of firearms and pro-gun organizations. "We are working closely with our Korean allies and the U.S. Army in exploring alternative options to dispose of these firearms," said a State Department spokesperson. Fox News.
