Stretch of Colo. river may be named for late outdoor writer

The Colorado Division of Wildlife has recommended naming the so-called Dream Stream portion of the South Platte River "The Charlie Meyers State Wildlife Area," in memory of the longtime Denver Post outdoors writer who died in January. The state wildlife commission will discuss the proposal this week at its regular meeting in Denver. The Denver Post.
