With the state's popular nine-day gun season for deer set to begin, the Wisconsin DNR is encouraging hunters to shoot feral hogs if they have an opportunity while afield. Currently found in 39 counties, feral pigs are considered unprotected wild animals and may be hunted year-round. Wisconsin Ag Connection.
