A Florida Fish & Wildlife officer who captured a 5-foot alligator and took it to his daughter's school for a show and tell class Friday said the reptile--with its mouth taped shut--escaped from the back of his pickup as he was leaving the Breakfast Point Academy in Panama City Beach to return it to the wild. “It’s green, it’s 5 feet long and it was last seen on the lam,” said FWC spokesman Stan Kirkland.
