Deputies with the Orange County (Calif.) Sheriff's Department who were transporting an unruly sea lion from a Newport Harbor dock out to water where it would not threaten people say the animal took a seat in their fireboat's secondary control station and began to pilot the craft. “It ran into the driver’s seat, flapped its flipper, turned the lights on and honked the horn,” said Deputy James Slikker.
