A third grader was sleeping at his grandparents residence in Rockingham County, Virginia when a rabid raccoon entered the house through a pet door and bit the youngster at least eight times. "I realized my thumb was really, really hurting so I woke up and then I looked at it and it was just bleeding everywhere," said Trey McCauley. WHSV.com.
