Kent and Steve Ballan were unable to repeat as winners of this year's Fort Frances (Ontario) Canadian Bass Championship, but they achieved something few of their bass-angling brethren competing in FLW and BASS events have ever done. While pre-fishing last week, the duo rescued a weary and drowning young moose with its legs hopelessly stuck in underwater debris. Next stop: YouTube. The Fort Francis Times.
