One thing about John Longo; he's a man of conviction. After Longo salvaged a road-killed deer he found near his property last year without obtaining a no-cost permit, the Wisconsin Court of Appeals ruled he must relinquish the mounted head of the 8-point buck to the DNR. Instead, Longo defied the ruling and says he threw away the mount. “The DNR, pardon my language, can kiss my go-to-and-stay-put,” he told the Racine Journal-Times.
