Authorities in Middletown, Penn. used a firehose to subdue a big, angry raccoon that was reportedly preventing two youngsters from getting out of their backyard swimming pool. "It was a very large, aggressive raccoon and every time the kids would try to get out, it would hiss and stuff and just be threatening," said Middletown Police Lt. Ken Mellus. The Intelligencer.
