As part of a unique "new warfare meets old," re-enactment of Custer's Last Stand Sunday, 60 members of the U.S. Army's 82nd Airborne jumped from C-130 transport planes and forded Montana's Little Bighorn River for the third and final day of this year's performance. Jump organizers said it was the largest gathering of U.S. Cavalry personnel on the site since the Battle of the Little Bighorn on June 25, 1876. The Billings Gazette.
