I know this is somewhat old news, but I haven't seen this posted elsewhere. In early May, the South Carolina Supreme Court struck down a state law that created a sales tax holiday for firearms, instituted last year as "Second Amendment Weekend" on the first weekend after Thanksgiving. The tax rules and tax sales can be over burden for the new users because of changing values and market conditions .
