A Lewis County Sheriff's deputy assisting a Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency game warden on a deer spotlighting call shot one of two suspects after the man allegedly pointed a long gun at the officer. The wounded suspect was transported by helicopter to Vanderbilt University Medical Center and his brother was arrested and charged with fleeing arrest and hunting law violations.
