Ed Park, a magazine and newspaper outdoor writer from Prineville, Ore, died Tuesday at the age of 78. Park, whose work spanned nearly 5 decades, wrote regularly for Outdoor Life and Field & Stream and was a founder of the Northwest Outdoor Writers. He is remembered by Bill Monroe in The Oregonian and in the Bend Bulletin.
