New statistics released by USDA Wildlife Services indicate that the agency shot, snared, trapped or poisoned a record 10,914 coyotes in Wyoming during fiscal year 2007, 3,054 more than the 2006 fiscal year. Of the total, nearly 7,500 were shot from airplanes. In The Casper Star-Tribune.
