A cocky Eagle River, AK teenager who battled a bear during a 2:00 a.m. attack Monday claims he earned bragging rights by boxing the female. Devon Rees, 18, was treated for cuts and gashes to his head, arm, thighs and waist. "I don't think the bear's any worse for it, but it was probably surprised someone was fighting back," said Anchorage police Lt. Paul Honeman, who called the brawl a "tie." The Anchorage Daily News.
