A Gotham, Maine woman reached into her washing machine and felt something move--it was an 8-foot reticulated python that evidently made its way from the water pipes of her 1800s-era farmhouse into her Maytag. "I jumped back and all of sudden its head starts coming out of the washing machine and it looked huge," said Mara Ranger. In The Boston Globe.
