Anglers aboard a sport-fishing boat out of the San Diego area narrowly avoided an international incident last week after they became entangled in a huge floating tuna pen in waters off the coast of Baja, Mexico for about 12 hours. Wayde Nichols praised the action of the U.S. Coast Guard for helping prevent Mexican authorities from possibly arresting him and seizing his 48-foot vessel, the SeƱor Hefe. Reported in The San Diego Union-Tribune.
