Oregon woman injured by back porch black bear

An Oregon woman received non-life threatening injuries late Sunday night when she encountered a black bear on the back porch of her Sandy-area home. "The woman suffered scratches and a puncture wound. She initially treated herself, and later sought medical attention at a local hospital," said Oregon Department of Fish & Wildlife spokesman Rick Hargrave. In The Salem News.
