Investigators have found no physical evidence to support the story of a mountain lion that allegedly attacked a a man who was hiking in Palo Alto's Foothills Park on Saturday, according to authorities. "He believed, I think truly, that he'd been attacked," Palo Alto police Agent Dan Ryan said. "We have just not been able to substantiate that with the science." In The San Jose Mercury News.
