A New Jersey Superior Court judge Friday sentenced animal rights activist Albert "Ali" Kazemian, 51, to 30 days in jail for resisting arrest during a 2007 bear-trap tampering incident. Noting that "(Kazemian's) conduct has been consistent to violate the law," Judge N. Peter Conforti said the defendant's most recent conviction was his third for resisting arrest and obstruction of justice. In The Star-Ledger.
