One has recently been placed back on the ESA by a sympathetic judge. The other has yet to be recognized as a viable species by the Fish & Wildlife Service. Authorities in Montana say a gray wolf was found dead on a road in the western part of the state with injuries consistent with a vehicle collision. And a motorist driving I-90 near Alberton called 911 to report a 7 1/2-foot tall primate approaching a couple who were fly-fishing. Just another week in Montana. In The Missoulian.
