A second black bear shot and killed in Iowa in less than a week had been creating a nuisance and raiding garbage cans around Waubonsie State Park, according to the state Department of Natural Resources. Five bear sightings have been confirmed in Iowa this year. Prior to this year's bear activity, the last confirmed sighting was in 2005. In the Waterloo-Cedar Valley Courier.
