30 emergency workers involved in coonhound's rescue

In a follow-up to yesterday's post, at least 30 emergency workers were involved in the rescue of Dan, the treeing Walker hound that became wedged in a drain pipe while tracking a raccoon late Tuesday night in Morganton, NC. During the successful effort put forth by rescuers, Burke County Rescue Squad paramedic Wesly Braswell fractured ribs on his left side. "I was not letting go of that dog even though I was in pain," said Braswell. In The Morganton News-Herald.
