Police in Galena, Alaska say a two-year-old black bear got more that he bargained for when he decided to square off with a dog in a neighborhood yard Friday afternoon. "It was a St. Bernard and he tore the bear up," police chief John Millan said. "Wasn't a scratch on the dog either." In The Anchorage Daily News and The Fairbanks News-Miner.
